There was quite a lot of frost around the country, and at Lake Mývatn in the north east it was -27.3°C (-17.14° F). Although not that cold, it has been quite cold in Reykjavík and Tjörnin, the pond in Reykjavík is officially safe for ice skating. Yesterday I posted a video of a morning bicycle commute in the snow in Reykjavík.
